I love this photograph because, whilst it's very simple, it's also very beautiful. I think the simplicity of it makes it more intriguing and pretty. The photo has a very retro, rustic, homely kind of vibe.
The composition of the photograph is strange but interesting. Even though the girl is in the very far corner of the photo your eye is still drawn to her because of the placement of the butterflies. |

My work in her style
This is a picture of some terrapins that I took when I went to a butterfly house. I tried to edit the photo to make it look like one of them had wings but it didn't work out very well. I think if I'd of cut the picture of the butterfly wings better and made it look more realistic, by possibly making the wings less vibrant, then this edit would've worked.
I took this photo in Anglesey and I thought I would edit in a picture of a butterfly that I had taken. Unfortunately, when trying to cut out the background of the butterfly picture I had some difficulties because the wings and legs of the butterfly are so delicate. This caused the edit to look unrealistic as you can still see some of the background.
With these two images I wanted to make the person look like a butterfly. I got images of Taylor swift off google and then used my photo of a butterfly (one of them is created using butterfly wings from google) to create the effect of butterfly wings on a person. I think these two turned out pretty good because they look more realistic and weird than the previous edits.
I took this picture of one of my friends and decided that I would photoshop the wings of the butterfly picture I took onto her. I think this is my best edit so far because it looks the most realistic. I cut the background out of the butterfly picture so I was left with just the wings and I then moved it over to this picture and moved them around until they looked realistic.
